The Client:
The Public Safety Writers Association is a membership organization of current and former public safety professionals who write novels, short stories, poetry, and non-fiction. Members are mostly writers of mysteries, thrillers, and crime stories involving public safety professionals and situations.
The Challenge:
The existing website was hard for members to navigate. The signup form for the annual conference was unreliable and the overall look of the site was very dated. Also, the platform on which the site was constructed was difficult to manage and update, especially for those with limited web experience.
The Solution:
The new website is welcoming, modern and easy to navigate. Registrations for the annual conference and membership numbers have increased. The organization’s leadership believes the website’s modern, professional appearance better reflects the organization’s openness, collegiality, and services.
